These terms cover your use of this website. Project work is governed by the proposal and contract we sign for it; where the two disagree, the contract wins.
Using this site
You are welcome to read, link to, and quote this site with attribution. Please do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking first, or scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people.
Enquiries are not a contract
Submitting a form does not create an agreement between us, and neither does our reply to it. Work begins when we have both signed a proposal setting out scope, price, and timeline.
Estimates
Any figures or timescales given before a proposal are indicative. They are based on what we know at the time and are not an offer.
Our content
The writing, design, code, and images on this site belong to Dev Hero or to the clients whose work is shown, and are published here with their agreement. Case studies are illustrative; the client owns their own brand and material.
Your content
Anything you post in a comment remains yours, but you give us permission to display it here. We moderate comments and may remove anything abusive, unlawful, or off-topic.
Advice on this site
Articles here are general guidance written at a point in time. They are not tailored to your situation, and WordPress moves quickly. Test anything before you run it against a production site.
Links out
We link to other sites where it is useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they publish.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we are not liable for losses arising from its use.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version published here is the one that applies.
