This policy explains what Dev Hero collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website only; anything we agree separately in a written contract takes precedence for project work.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form. There are no third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts on this site.
Project enquiries
The quote form asks for your name, email address, the kind of work you need, an indicative budget and timeline, and a description of your project. We use it to reply to you and to prepare a proposal.
Website audit requests
The audit form asks for your website address and your email address, so we can send you the report.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we keep your email address until you ask us to remove it. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
Comments
If you comment on an article, WordPress stores the name, email address, and website you supply, along with your IP address and browser user agent, to help with spam detection. If you tick the box to be remembered, your browser stores those details in a cookie so you do not have to retype them.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are delivered to us by email, which means they pass through our web host and our email provider in transit. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we might reasonably need them for the relationship they started, and for our own records afterwards. Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-up replies can be recognised automatically.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of anything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will action it.
